The Samsung Galaxy S22 series is shaping up to be the dominant force in android phones in 2022, but what's new about them? Hey guys, Vic with Phone Arena here with a summary of all we know about the s22, s22 plus, and the s22 ultra. First, these phones are right around the corner. Rumors say Samsung will hold an event on February 8th, 2022, and the phones will be available in stores on the 18th of February.

The big news here is all about the s22 ultra, the big dog in the series. Samsung is still keeping the best screens for itself, and we can't blame them. Last year, Samsung experimented with a plastic design on the s21 model to help with cost and to lower the price on that model, and the new s22 series unfortunately only continues in the same direction. Don't expect a charger in the box either.

The usual shenanigans here. But, in general, you'll still get a 108 megapixel main camera, an ultra wide one, a three-times zoom, and a periscope 10x zoom lens. Don't let the fact that it's the same camera setup as the previous phone, the s2100, deter you. Samsung has made some significant improvements to image quality, the isp, and the software, and you'll also get a new expert roll feature for enthusiasts.

The leaks say the s22 will have a 3700 milliamp-hour battery, down from the 4000 on the previous model, while the plus-size version will get a 4500 milliamp-hour battery, down from the 4800 on the previous model. This is about a six to seven percent drop in battery capacity, but it's one compromise that comes with smaller phones.

At least, that's what I'd do. On the charging front, nothing is really new. Rumors say that the ultra model will support 45 watt charging speeds, while the other two models will get 25 watt charging speeds. In real life, this means that it will take you around an hour and a half to get a full charge, which is fine, but far from the fastest charging phones you can get from xiaomi or oneplus.

The big news is how Samsung has merged the galaxy note idea with that built-in s pen with the camera of the galaxy s series for one truly super phone of a device.

At the same time, it has shrunk the other two s22 models in size and all three get a faster processor and improved cameras. So this is not a super exciting update, but for the ultra owners it might be.'s on yours and which of these three models are you most interested.
